Owen joined Purcell in 2007 as a Part I and has grown with the practice: in 2026, he was made Associate Partner.

He has delivered a wide range of projects at historically significant locations spanning sectors including industrial heritage, transport, public and cultural. With a particular interest in industrial heritage, Owen has been involved with projects such as the Centre of Refurbishment Excellence (CoRE) and Elsecar Heritage Centre’s Newcomen Beam Engine. He enjoys the challenge of creatively providing a sustainable future for industrial buildings and sites which are no longer required for their original purpose. Owen holds an AABC accredidation and has been involved in the development of Revit within the practice and is also experienced in AutoCAD.

In his spare time, Owen enjoys model making and architectural photography.
