Lydia joined Purcell in 2026 as an Associate Partner, bringing over 20 years of experience as an architect in several internationally acclaimed London practices.

She has developed a strong portfolio across cultural buildings, schools, and high-end residential projects, often working with complex briefs and historically sensitive contexts.

Her broad skill set and depth of experience enable her to build strong relationships with clients, guiding them from initial concept through to delivery. Lydia is particularly adept at translating clear design principles into thoughtful, well-crafted architecture, and is known for her collaborative approach and ability to support clients in realising their ambitions.

She is passionate about leading and driving project teams, fostering a collaborative environment that brings together diverse expertise to achieve strong design outcomes. Lydia is also committed to mentoring and supporting colleagues, and values passing on knowledge and experience to help develop and empower the next generation of architects.
