Katherine joined Purcell in 2025 as an Associate, bringing extensive experience as an AABC-accredited and RIBA Specialist Conservation Architect. She has led transformative conservation projects across the culture, education, and transport sectors, specialising in the repair and adaptation of historic buildings.

Prior to joining Purcell, a career highlight was her eight-year involvement in the redevelopment of King’s Cross Station, where she oversaw the project from design through to completion and later authored its Heritage Partnership Agreement, one of the first of its kind.

Katherine is a passionate advocate for the adaptive reuse of existing buildings, whether listed or not, and believes that the constraints of the urban environment can inspire, rather than hinder, creativity.

Outside of work, Katherine enjoys keeping bees and growing produce on her allotment, often sharing any surplus with the (very grateful) London studio.
