James Murray  

James joined Purcell in 2019. He has worked in practice since 2007 with experience across a wide range of sectors including residential, commercial and transportation.

Prior to starting at Purcll, he was project leader for a complex 63-unit residential and office scheme Spitalfields, London. He was also part of the team that delivered the Bloomberg Building in London, winner of the 2018 Stirling Prize. Other projects include high rise residential and office towers and airports.

James is highly experienced in delivering projects from start to finish in BIM and realising the benefits of highly integrated collaboration within the wider design team. He is always keen to incorporate new technologies into the design process to complement and enhance traditional design skills.
