Gareth is a RIBA accredited Specialist Conservation Architect with over 20 years’ experience of working on historic buildings.
He is currently working on Manchester Town Hall, a Grade I-listed building and one of the largest and most complex conservation projects in the country. He has led the design and specification of repairs to the external fabric including stonework, timber sash windows, metal windows, leaded lights and roofing.
Prior to the Our Town Hall project, he worked on a wide range of heritage projects carrying out condition surveys, producing reports and designing and specifying repairs and alterations, developing a thorough understanding of traditional materials and building techniques.
