Caitlin is a conservation accredited Senior Architect based in Purcell’s Bristol studio and also serves as the West Region Trustee for the Employee Ownership Trust.

Having joined Purcell in 2016 as a Part I Architectural Assistant, she has developed extensive experience in creating contextually sensitive designs within historically significant environments, delivering places that celebrate culture, heritage, and exploration. Her work combines strong design leadership with specialist conservation expertise.

Caitlin is adept at delivering complex projects with multiple stakeholder and public funding arrangements. She is currently working on the new Cultural Centre and Museum for the Isles of Scilly, a transformative project that will provide a new home for the islands’ heritage and cultural activities.

Alongside her professional practice, Caitlin leads a design unit at the Welsh School of Architecture, where she focuses on adaptive reuse and the sustainable transformation of existing buildings. She also contributes her expertise as a heritage specialist on a local design review panel to support high quality design.
