Andrew Bailey
BA (Hons) BArch ARB
Andrew developed his long-standing interest in working with historic buildings and environments whilst studying at the University of Liverpool.
Having qualified as an Architect in 2008, working in Purcell’s Liverpool studio, he then worked for a decade in a smaller, well-established, conservation practice in Manchester, further developing his skills and expertise on a range of interesting heritage projects across varied sectors.
Since returning to the practice’s Manchester studio in 2021 to work on the Our Town Hall project, Andrew has gained great satisfaction from leading several elements of the project including the restoration of the internal stonework and specialist decorations. He has also successfully led the extensive conservation of the prominent Albert Memorial monument, a significant cultural asset which is now completed and forms the centrepiece of the rejuvenated Albert Square.
