Alvaro Santos  

Alvaro is an ARB and RIBA Chartered Architect with over 10 years' post-qualification experience delivering complex projects across the UK and internationally. His experience spans higher education, residential, defence, civic, and heritage-led sectors, with particular expertise in technical delivery, BIM coordination, and multidisciplinary team leadership.

Currently part of Purcell’s Palace of Westminster team, Alvaro works on nationally significant projects within complex stakeholder environments. He has extensive experience leading and coordinating large consultant teams and delivering technically demanding schemes through all RIBA stages, including major projects for the University of Bristol and the University of Sussex.  

Alvaro has a strong professional interest in heritage architecture, digital design processes, and collaborative project delivery. Outside of practice, he enjoys travelling and exploring historic cities and architecture around the world.
