Purcell is looking for an exceptional Senior Architect with excellent technical skills to join our London studio to work on a variety of public and private sector projects.

This role offers the opportunity to be involved in projects at all RIBA stages working collaboratively with a broad consultant team. You will play a key role in driving and delivering projects, liaising with clients and consultants. This position is ideal for a team player, confident managing multiple workstreams while delivering the highest standards of projects from inception till completion within tight timescales.

The role

We are looking for candidates who have the following skills:

  • ARB Part 3 qualified or equivalent professional qualification and have at least 7 years working as a Project Architect for a UK based practice
  • Proficiency in using Revit, AutoCAD and NBS software
  • Have excellent technical and detailing skills
  • Project management and contract administration skills and experience is desirable
  • Have a strong understanding of the UK Building and Planning regulations
  • Leadership experience managing a small team
  • Have experience in working on existing buildings
  • Conservation experience is desirable
  • Be well organised, proactive and enthusiastic approach to work and projects
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • Proven experience working on all RIBA Stages, especially Stages 2-6
